reminiscing.

I've decided not to do this week's Sunday Wishlist. I actually have nothing to wish for right now... Apart from money, a job, a car and a holiday, but that's a different matter! Instead, I've decided to post some photographs of my time at university (: I'm currently organising a scrapbook for all my memories throughout my 4 years at Sheffield Hallam. These are just a few that I picked out... I've tried to include the people who have been a significant part in my life, but I'm worried I've missed a few people... But if I included everyone, I'd be here all day! So, if any of you are wondering why you're not in this post, chances are you'll definitely be in the scrapbook, so don't be offended ;)

ELF Eyebrow Kit

I've never done anything to my eyebrows. Well, obviously I pluck/wax/shape them!! I mean, I don't 'style' them or fill them in with colour to define them. After watching numerous vloggers doing this during makeup tutorials, I figured it's time I jumped on the bandwagon.

I didn't have anything to compare this product to, so I was able to stay pretty open minded and just experiment to see if it was something I would like to do everyday! It cost £3.50, so I was willing to buy this eyebrow kit to start off... If it was rubbish, it's only £3.50 down the drain, but if it was good then it's an absolute steal.

(can't really see the effect very well...)

The box came with some instructions at the back, which is very helpful for us beginners! In the kit, you've got a little double-headed brush, one side angled for the wax and the other for the powder. I found it very easy to use and it wasn't too noticeable. Maybe I need to use more? Or I got the wrong shade... I bought 'light' to play it safe, and obviously buying online prevents you from trying things, so you have to hope for the best! It's a lovely little kit though, and I've been using it everyday - so I guess it's not all bad! My eyebrows are pretty out of shape to each other at the moment, so it's been amazing to try and shape them back to normal.

Thanks ELF for yet another great product! You can buy your own eyebrow kit HEREEE.

end of an era!

Top: ASOS
Skirt: Topshop
Tights: Primark
Watch: Disney, from Florida

If you follow me on Twitter, you would have noticed a week or two ago that I was moaning about how I bought a skirt from Topshop and it had shrunk in the wash before I had even worn it. Well, this is it. I think I didn't stretch it out enough whilst it was drying, so I'll make sure I do that next time. I decided to keep it in the end - it's one of those things that played on my mind when I first saw it, so I knew I HAD to get it. It's not that short anyway, which is why I kept it... Once it's stretched out a bit more, it'll be fine! Definitely not one to wear when it's windy outside - want to keep my dignity thank you!

You will no longer see any stressful comments or posts concerning university now, because I HAVE FINISHEDDD! (: Not quite a graduate yet, still got to wait a month until I find out what degree grade I have... I'm hoping for a 2:1, maybe even a 1st if I'm incredibly lucky, but that's pretty doubtful. I have no idea what to do or where to go in my life right now... I'll probably just apply for millions of internships/work experience in journalism and then get a random job to tide myself over and pay off my student overdraft... Either way, I'm already pretty damn scared about the future! I need to face it head on, but I'd like to be a bit more clear-headed on what I want to do in my life before I get stuck into a career for the rest of my life. I'm 22 though - haven't got much time to figure that out!

I didn't end up going to Bath in the end, so no photos from the exhibition I mentioned last week! Pretty gutted I missed it, but it couldn't be helped. You can see the work soon on the Twenty blog anyway, so keep an eye on that if you want to see it.

Some new products will be in my jewellery shop soon (: Owl necklace and teacup necklaces...

There's limited stock so you'll have to snap them up pretty quick if you want one! I'll let you all know when they're for sale (:

Sunday Wish List 11

I've been very intrigued by the recent palazzo/wide-leg trouser craze... I'm not sure if I could pull them off to be honest, and they're not the cheapest things in the world so I couldn't buy any to find out. But, if I could afford some (and they did suit me) these would be at the top of my list...

finish line

Dress: Primark
Leggings: Topshop
Wedges: F&F at Tesco
Rings: danijewellery

Excuse the messy, frizzy, non-straightened hair - wanted to give it a rest, even though it's already in bad condition anyway! Desperately need a hair cut. I'm considering dip dying it soon, in celebration of finishing uni. A fair few people have commented, saying I should go for it... and the more I think about it, the more I want to do it. So, we shall see!

This is one of my favourite outfits at the moment. My mum bought me this dress from Primarni after I said I wanted to get the dress Gem wore here... but I'm so glad she bought me this instead. I did try on the other one, but as lovely as it was, it didn't fit very well... and this dress is just so damn comfortable. It's got a similar pattern, and an elasticated waist so I don't need to worry if I have an eating frenzy one day. Also, I noticed these espadrilles on Beth's blog, and I just knew that I HAD to get them! (Also just realised she's wearing the same dress as Gem - I feel like I've tried to steal her entire outfit now! haha) I've been wanting a pair of wedges for aaages, but could never find ones that 1. were comfortable to wear, 2. weren't too high since I'm so tall already, and 3. that go with everything. These match all specs and were definitely worth the money (£8! Well, £11 p+p, but still, amazingly cheap!) Expect to see these shoes a lot more when the sunshine comes back out.

This week has been insane. AGAIN. I'm onto my last ever uni assignment now, which is due on Monday, so my life isn't all fun and games yet. The end is nigh. It's so close that I've already moved out of my Sheffield house and completely moved back home in the delightful Kidderminster. Still undecided whether I'm upset about this or going to miss the city... Guess time will tell.

Off to Bath this weekend to see the boyfriend and see his exhibition, Twenty, that himself and his coursemates have been organising for months. Might do a little post of their work later on... Or if you REALLY want to see it beforehand, go see it yourself! Click here for more info. It's only on until Sunday so get there while you can.

ELF Mineral Eye Liner

I went on a bit of a spending spree on ELF's makeup the day after the Royal wedding. I've always been intrigued about their makeup, but due to my skin being a bit touch-and-go with products, and this makeup is so damn cheap, I was a bit scared to try it out. However, after using their mascara (in THIS post), I decided to go for it and try a few more things.

I always used to use Rimmel's Eye Kohl in Black. I'm absolutely useless with liquid eyeliner... I wish I could use it but I just can't I smudge it EVERYWHERE, then it leaks into the corners of my eyes making it look all blotchy. Rimmel's pencil eyeliner was cheap and very easy-to-use... But I fancied a change. Enter ELF's Mineral Eye Liner.

For £3, it was around the same price as Rimmel... and works just as well. If anything, I find it less messy due to the fact it's not a 'pencil'. You twist it up to how much you need, then twist it back down when you've finished. No need to sharpen it, so no eyeliner gets on my hands (which always happens to me). It's very easy to apply, it's precise and you can smudge it to get the smoky eye look if you wish. It also stays on pretty well, so I don't need to worry about reapplying all through the day.

At the moment, I think I'll be buying this more often! It's pretty long, which is annoying if you only have a very small bag, but for everyday use (not taking it out on a night) it's definitely recommendable.

Witch Anti-Blemish Primer

I've got loads of new products to review in the next coming weeks... But first, I have to talk about something I've been using practically everyday for the last 2 months...

Witch brought out some new make-up products this year, and since my skin is pretty awkward when it comes to make-up, I always have to be careful with what I use. The last primer I used was one of the culprits that turned my skin incredibly dry and red on my cheeks so I needed to find a new one.

Enter Witch's Anti-Blemish Primer!

At the start of use, my skin was covered in redness and broke out in a few spots (and my skin never tends to do that! Touch wood won't happen again...) so I was intrigued to see if this would live up to it's name. And it did!

It didn't work straight away (well, what does?!) but I could definitely see my skin improving as time went on. My skin is more clear than before and the spots have disappeared and haven't came back (again, touch wood they stay away).

Primer wise - it's very silky and smooth to apply and doesn't dry out your skin. It's great if you want to make sure your make-up stays on all day - I was very impressed that my foundation didn't fade at all!

I couldn't recommend this product enough. I was wary about using it because it's the first range of make-up for Witch, but they didn't fail me.

deadline month!

Top: ASOS

Shorts: DIY
Tights: Primark
Socks: Topshop
Brogues: River Island
Starbucks necklace: Babi-online

I'm really sorry guys but I'm going to have disappear off the blogging world for the next few days, therefore no Sunday Wishlist ): I have one exam on Tuesday, and it's possibly the worst one I have taken in my entire life. My days consist of revision, revision and more revision now... So this blog will have to take a step back for the time-being! I'll be back with a vengeance straight after though (:

Thanks to all of you who have helped me by following Silhouette's Twitter or liking the Facebook page... You've helped towards my degree and it's very appreciated! (:

I'd also like to add that you may have noticed a new link at the top... danijewellery... I won't say anymore other than it'll be up and running by Wednesday ;) Although I will say that I'm not trying to compete with the other bloggers who sell these rings. I'm doing it because every time I wear a ring, people ask me where I've got it from... and I'd love it if I could say 'I made it' and give them a business card (how professional!). But seriously, I hope I'm not going to get any hate from the lovelies that already sell these!
