GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick in 43 Tropical Pink

I'll be honest, I used to avoid bright pink lipsticks at all cost. I was never confident enough to wear it, and since dying my hair red, I was even more put off by the idea. I thought the clash would be too much. This has been sat in my make-up box for a few months now, courtesy of the Z-PR girls, and I always thought it was a bit of a waste. However, one of my friends persuaded me to give it a go for a night out...

The photo doesn't really do the eye-popping colour justice. It really is such a vibrant pink shade - absolutely gorgeous. It definitely appears quite bold, but if you apply it lightly you can create a more subtle shade for daywear if you prefer, rather than making a big statement.

The texture is really nice... It just glides on so easily, isn't sticky and it doesn't dry your lips. It keeps them supple and the colour stays on for a long time so no need to worry for applying throughout the day or night. In fact, I think I reapplied it a bit too much during the night that the colour refused to come off with a face wipe and I was left with pink stained lips the next morning... Don't do what I did! That proves it really does last!

You can buy GOSH's Velvet Touch in Tropical Pink* from Superdrug for £6.49... Not a bad price tag in my opinion. It's great quality, lasts all night and the colour is just 'wow'! This has become one of my favourite lipsticks... but I can't say I'll be wearing it frequently. I'm still easing my way into the colour clash!
