Get high, hit the floor before you go

Shirt: Primark | Jeans: Motel Rocks | Stone ring: Jwlry | Scrabble ring: Handmade

I’m trying to wear my Motel Rocks jeans as much as possible before it gets too cold. Ankle grazers are definitely not designed for winter! However, I always struggle with what to wear top-wise during the day with these. I found this loose fit shirt from Primark a few weeks ago, and have yet to wear it (well, until today obviously). With a couple of pleats at the front, it really helps to make this shirt as flattering as possible. It would probably drown me otherwise. I love the little black tie as well – although I tied it too tight this morning and nearly strangled myself. Oops. It’s loose enough to layer when it gets a bit colder, and the colour will go with majority of my clothes. I could probably get away with wearing it for work too. Win!

After a very tiring and hectic week, I’m SO glad it’s the weekend now. I’ve been out and about most of the weeknights, the parents came back from their holiday… And I managed to crash my little car. It was my first ever crash, and luckily only a minor one, but I’m genuinely gutted. New indicator light and a new bumper? GREAT!

I’m also very glad that September is nearly over and October is arriving. I’ve got so many exciting things going on in October… and I also love how quick the time is going :)

But I can't compete with a she wolf

Jumper: Lavish Alice | Jeans: Primark | Boots: Primark

My first purchase for the A/W season... I fell in love with this studded green knitted jumper when I noticed it on Lavish Alice's website. It's really good quality for just £21 - you'd pay around £40 for the same thing in Topshop, probably! In fact, I wanted a studded green jumper from Topshop a while ago, so this is the perfect alternative. I'm tempted to stock up on different colours. The knit isn't itchy whatsoever, and it's comfortable - easy to wear, not too fitted so you can layer it up... Love it.

I also bought these new boots from Primark a couple of weeks ago. I prefer to spend more money on shoes to make sure of the quality and to ensure they're long lasting. However, my last pair of black flat boots were also from Primark and lasted through the awful Sheffield winter weather for a couple of years, so I figured this new pair would do the trick for the time-being. I love the buckle wrapped around the front, but I need to find some new laces... Really don't like the fact they're very long and thin. I can't complain for the price though!

Vlog Monday #5 | How (not) to kill a spider...

Second post of the day - crikey.

I hate spiders, and so does my best friend Jess. We spotted one (it was huuuge, may I add) as it was about to enter my bedroom on Saturday night, whilst we were getting ready... Needless to say, we didn't handle it very well.

We named it Hugo. RIP. (Obviously I don't condone killing creatures... But yeah... BLEURGH). Here's what happened...

Also, there is swearing involved, so if you don't like to hear that, then I'd suggest muting it!

You bring me sadness, you bring me joy

Playsuit: Boohoo | Shoes: New Look

I was sent this gorgeous playsuit from Boohoo's new season A/W collection. I'll be honest, I've never really considered going to Boohoo for new outfits. I don't know why. However, when I noticed the Aisha playsuit, I knew I had to check it out. I love the contrasting colours of turquoise and purple together, with floral lace covering it. It's very fitted... In fact, it's so fitted, I was a bit restricted with my arm movements. I ended up getting one size bigger than I normally would, just for the extra material at the top to help, but it was still quite tight! It was comfortable to wear though, and the perfect length. I also love the short sleeves, as that will be great during the colder months if I wanted to wear it in the daytime.

I've been so busy the last few days, I don't really know where the time's gone. I've had a pretty good weekend, even though it consisted running errands and cleaning the house... Not so thrilling. I invited Jess round on the evening, so I wined and dined her with my cooking skills, followed by dancing the night away in our hometown... Hence the playsuit/iPhone quality photos! Back to the working week now...

A dark horse running in a fantasy

Playsuit: Yayer | Socks: Topshop | Necklace: Topshop

I've always heard good things about Yayer in the bloggersphere, but never got round to buying anything because of money or the worry of items not fitting me. However, it recently had an online sale, and after a quick search through, I spotted this playsuit and I knew I needed it in my life. I wanted a playsuit that I could wear in the day, be comfortable in and yet is still long enough (my height tends to make it look way too short on me)! It's very light, so is more suitable for summer... but I think I could get away with wearing it with leggings/knitted tights, boots and a cardi/jumper when winter hits. The navy blue flowery pattern is cute too - the colour scheme is definitely great for the upcoming months.

Being home alone at the moment is a bit strange... But I like it at the same time. I've got one more week left, so I think by then I'll be so used to it that I'll want my own place again soon after! Never mind. I've just been throwing myself into work to keep myself as occupied as possible. I can't wait for the weekend though - girly night out is on the cards with my best friend Jess. Also need to get her registered for Glastonbury before it's too late (I wrote that as a mental note for the both of us to make sure it happens!)... Are any of you planning on going? :)

Vlog Monday #4 | September Products

After a break last week, I'm now back with a new vlog for you all :) I decided to do a vlog on certain products I've used (or going to use) this month. I know people tend to vlog these kind of videos at the end of the month, but as I'm new to this kind of thing, I've just done a general video as most of the products I like on this I've used for more than 2 weeks!

Not only do I feature my favourite products at the moment, I also go into some products that I really don't like and products that I'll be trying out soon.

Hope you like! And please let me know if you've used any of the products mentioned and how you got on with them! People's views and opinions are different, so I'd love to know if you share a different view to mine!
