I got out, I’m alive and I’m here to stay

Dress & belt: ASOS | Jumper: Topshop | Leggings: OMG Fashion | Converse: Office | Rings: Handmade

My chosen attire for my trip to Birmingham to see John Bishop at the NIA. Comfortable, practical and colourful. I bought this ASOS dress in the sale a few months ago and never got round to wearing it. It's a very flattering fit, and long enough to wear without leggings/tights during summer, which is always a plus for me!

I love the cut outs on the shoulder - makes a nice change to seeing them placed on the waist. The neckline is also quite high, which I'm not usually a fan of, but it works well with the cut out sleeves. It's a lovely sky blue colour, with a pattern of black heart outlines all over. I thought that was really cute and different to the standard AW patterns we're seeing lately. I teamed it with my grey Topshop jumper (because it's bloomin' cold) and my trusty pair of Converse.

I'm still trying to get over whatever this illness I've picked up is. I'm not feeling as bad as last week, but I think I've been doing too much this week and it's starting to attack again. I don't like feeling like I want to go to sleep at 8pm every night... and I miss blogging, but looking at a computer screen all day is a little bit painful on the ol' eyes. Never mind. I'm powering through.

I probably didn't help matters when I went to see John Bishop on Saturday night (when I should have been resting). He was really funny, but I didn't think he was as funny as his last tour... Am I on my own with this thinking (if you've seen him this year)? Maybe it's the illness talking. I also spent the following day organising my room, as I now have a lovely HUGE wardrobe in there. All the more room for more clothes, yes?
