And I realise the joke is on me

Playsuit: Motel Rocks | Shoes: New Look | Bracelet: Topshop

I've owned this playsuit for a few months now. I fell in love with it as soon as I clasped my eyes on it, but waited until it entered the sales! I think I paid around £20 for it... Worth every penny. It's got an open back and an elasticated waist so the shorts are super comfortable (and long enough in the leg too)! I love the 3/4 sleeves and the slightly loose fit in the top, yet it's still very flattering.

It's also got a sheer black panel between the top and shorts, to keep them attached without losing the illusion of it being separate (and I guess it helps keep my modesty a bit too). The pattern is just gorgeous - I love the mixture of colours and the fact it's a modern take of curtains you'd find in your grandparent's house (am I right?!)

I'm glad I saved this outfit for my birthday night out. I went up to Sheffield on Friday night with my lovely friend Vicky and had the best night I've had in a long time... Even though I can't remember all of it. In fact, I think I'm still suffering from it. I'm definitely not cut out for the student lifestyle anymore!

I had a fabulous birthday anyway, which included a visit to Bicester Village, family meal, Sheffield funtimes, the Clothes Show (separate blog post coming soon!) and I saw The Maccabees and The Black Keys in Birmingham on Sunday! I dragged my 24th birthday out for as long as possible, that's for sure...

I love that print. Glad to hear you had a good birthday, I served a customer this weekend that really looked like you, it creeped me out! x
