Is this the place that I've been dreaming of? | Outfit

Topshop tee | Primark belt | Christmas cracker hat

The first of my Christmas sale purchases (which I bought on Christmas Eve) is this gorgeous oversized tee from Topshop. It's actually by Escapology, not Topshop, and so it's made me realise that I should really look through the concessions more often. I love the ombre style and the abstract/kaleidoscope pattern which adds the much needed colour!

It also makes a nice change that this oversized tee is long enough to wear as a dress. I added a waist belt in order to bring it together so it looks more fitted, but it's still just as flattering when worn loose. This was also great to wear on Christmas Day due to all the food I consumed... Food baby Central.

Did you all have a good Christmas? The last few days have been lovely, spending lots of time with my family, Alex and his family! It's a shame it's all over for another year, but that just means there's so many more exciting things to look forward to in 2014! Saying that, it's officially New Year's Eve so I'm getting the wine ready for a house party tonight... Then it will actually be 2014. Crikey. Where's that time gone?

Christmas Time 2013

Christmas always flies by. It's a wonder why so many of us worry about Christmas throughout the month, and yet it disappears in a flash! I'm trying to drag it out as long as possible, with my Christmas jumper still getting a good wearing and a few more presents to give out to my friends!

In general, it's been a really lovely Christmas with Alex and my family. I've been very lucky, and so has Alex really, as most of my presents are for next year when we move out together. My kitchen has pretty much been kitted out (yes, my kitchen) with quirky accessories, all things baking and a beautiful Roberts Radio that I can't wait to use (I've wanted one for a few years now)! I've also stocked up on my favourite brands, including Benefit and Liz Earle. Alex has treated me an amazing new compact camera and a Disney Traditions ornament, which I adore! It was a lovely surprise indeed :)

Oh, and the obligatory Christmas socks...

What did Santa bring you this year?

Well, it's been a year, it doesn't surprise me | Outfit

OnePiece Onesie*

Christmas is not only a time for family, friends, presents and good food, but it's also a time for putting your onesie on, getting comfy and watching films all week long! I'm not a big onesie wearer in all honesty, but OnePiece won me over last year and it's won me over again this year.

I adore the cream and navy fairisle look to this onesie - very festive but suitable all year round! It's so comfortable and warm to wear, and quite baggy so you can layer if needed (but I never do as it keeps me nice and toasty)! The quality is incredible, and considering OnePiece onesies go for over £100 each, I'm impressed that it hasn't faltered on quality yet.

As much as I love this onesie, I already one one, so I've actually gifted this to my mum so she can enjoy it just as much! I know she's wanted a OnePiece for ages (pretty much when she bought me one last Christmas) so she was pretty chuffed to receive this beauty! It was difficult for me to give away though... I bloody love it.

If you want to get your hands on a OnePiece onesie, don't forget to use the following code to get 20% off on the OnePiece website: 'BL1311DANIJOHANNA' :)

Freedom at Topshop Advent Calendar - The Opening | Review

Freedom at Topshop Advent Calendar*

You may have seen my quick review of the Freedom at Topshop advent calendar at the beginning of the month, and I thought I would share a few additional thoughts now all the glorious doors have been opened!

I probably like around half of these items enough to keep them for myself. I don't tend to wear dainty necklaces, but these are pretty cute! Majority are gold, which doesn't bother me too much, but it's a shame there isn't a piece of jewellery that doesn't include a splash of colour! Most of the jewellery are actually part of a set, which is fab as I don't tend to own sets of jewellery, yet they always come in handy for outfits.

Unfortunately, I do have some negative points to say... Three of the doors opened weren't great. Two of them gave me the exact same necklaces as two previous doors, and the third door had nothing in at all! I checked the box but I couldn't find any earrings around, so I have no idea what happened to it. Maybe there was a manufacturing fault at some point. It would be a massive shame if you bought this for £28 and you didn't receive 24 different pieces of jewellery.

For that reason, I wouldn't say this is the best advent calendar around, but I do love some of the necklaces and earrings I've received, especially the triangle necklace and earrings, the diamond shape earrings and the star necklace!

Soap & Glory The Yule Monty | Review

Soap & Glory The Yule Monty gift set - was £60, now £27

When Boots made the Soap & Glory The Yule Monty gift set more than half price, I pretty much didn't give it a second thought. Before I knew it, it was in my shopping basket online and my debit card was out.

I couldn't resist buying this when it went down to £27, despite the fact I was buying it for myself just before Christmas and there is a small chance I may receive this again as an actual gift... But hey, I absolutely love Soap & Glory, and this deal was always totally worth it.

The bag is gorgeous, as it's designed by Jonathan Saunders and is limited edition. I'm not usually one for the free bags that you receive from certain brand deals, but this is definitely an exception. It'll come in handy when I have to store any products next year too!

I'm not entirely sure if this is worth £60, especially when compared to the last couple of years when it was a HUGE box full of Soap & Glory goodies (I'm certain you used to get a couple more things... I could be wrong though). You do get a good selection of products though:

Sugar Crush body wash (RRP £6.50)
The Righteous Butter body butter (RRP £10.50)
Heel Genius foot mask (RRP £5.50)
Hand Food hand cream (RRP £5.00)
Peaches & Clean face cleanser (RRP £8.00)
The Scrub Of Your Life body buffer (RRP £7.00)
Butter Yourself body lotion (RRP £10.00)
Thick & Fast Super Volume mascara (RRP £10.00)
Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme-Plump lipgloss (RRP £10.00)

All these products are worth £72.50 in total... No wonder people get a bit excited when you can get all this for more than half the price! I wouldn't be bothered about buying this gift set at £60 though. I won't use the lipgloss much, and I already own the Hand Food hand cream, so that's already dropped it down to below £60... Not really worth it for me! You can never resist a good bargain though.

Anyone picked up this delightful set? :)

Zara Top | Topshop Riding Pants

I had to say goodbye to my beloved Glamorous Disco Pants the other week, but I needed to find a decent alternative because they were just so useful and a real staple in my wardrobe. I decided to go for these Topshop Riding Pants, which actually make me feel more comfortable than the Disco Pants.\

They're slightly thicker, which is great for this time of year, and are pretty slimming too. They seem like they will last a bit longer than the other disco pants I had. I do feel like I should be riding a horse in them though... And I definitely don't plan on doing that anytime soon.
