Leather jacket love song

All Topshop

I bought this dress in the Topshop sale for £20 and I'm so glad I did. I love the split colour and the flowery (kind of looks like trees... Or maybe they're clovers... I don't know) pattern. The lace peter pan collar is so cute as well. It's a great fit, flattering but quite floaty as well. I teamed it with my new leather jacket that I adore. The whole outfit is new, and I liked how the leather jacket added an edge to the cute dress. Plus, it's pretty warm (as much as jackets can be, anyway), which is great for this season! It's definitely a staple piece in my wardrobe, as it's just timeless.

I'm just a massive mix of emotions right now. You know when things just happen all at once and you have no idea what to think or what you can do to help? Yeah, that. On one hand, I'm pretty happy and last week was great for various reasons. But on the other hand, my best friend is going through a tough time and I wish I could take her heart ache away. She's been there for me recently and now I'm being there for her, but I can't help but feel sad too. Life does suck sometimes.

Saying that though, she's started her own blog to document her thoughts on life. Obviously, her last post isn't very positive, but it shows just how powerful blogging can be. Blogging is a great way to escape, no matter what you blog about. It's not all about fashion and beauty, y'know! Just the fact she found the strength to write her last two blog posts has made me so proud of her. It's also made me rethink about the point of blogging, but that's for a different blog post!

In the meantime, I can only hope the following photo puts a smile back on her face...

I look stoned. Brilliant.
