I thought I saw you leaving carrying your shoes | Outfit

Dress: Primark | Shoes: Keds

After seeing Milly wear this dress on Instagram, I fell in love with it and knew I had to have it in my life. When I found out it was from Primark, I was pretty amazed as the print is so summery and colourful. It kind of reminds me of the 60s era, which is one of my favourites. The dress fits really well, but the floaty skirt is too dangerous when it's windy outside. You can't avoid pulling a Marilyn in this!

I'm trying to keep as much energy as possible, and that means I'm trying to unwind, switch off and do the best part of nothing during my evenings... Apart from writing blog posts, that is. It's quite difficult to do that though, and I'm struggling to sit down and not think about checking social media, checking emails and every other day-to-day things I tend to do. How on earth do we switch off nowadays?

This is why I'm literally counting down to my holiday next month. I haven't been on a proper holiday in over 2 years, so I'm very excited. I also know that I will be able to leave this world behind and relax for an entire week without a care. Pure bliss. In the meantime... I still need to find bloomin' summer clothes to take with me, even though stores are now selling autumn/winter stuff. WHAAAT. It's only August.

What brands or stores do you tend to go in to find your summer essentials?

Hi Dani
I would sincerely like to apologise for the inappropriate post on the 25th August.
The social media freelancers we employed took it upon themselves to spam every blog they came across regardless of its content.
Your site was brought to my attention yesterday, and looking though it I can see that you have taken great care and effort creating something very special, so once again please accept my apologies.
