heidi klein swimwear | Review

heidi klein bikini* (no longer available)

Am I right in thinking a girl always needs to buy at least one new bikini for their summer holiday? I've always stocked up on bikinis from the cheap and cheerful places, such as Primark, New Look etc. I've never really considered the more expensive ranges out there, but heidi klein has some amazing pieces at the moment.

heidi klein offers gorgeous designer swimwear, from classic pieces to colourful statements. It ranges between £150-200 (+!) but is definitely the type of clothing that will last you a lifetime.

I absolutely love this white bikini - it's such a timeless classic that won't go out of fashion. The quality is amazing too. You definitely worry about this white bikini going see-through at any point!

heidi klein doesn't even lack in quality with the packaging. I felt like it was Christmas all over again when I was unwrapping it! I'm even going to keep the box as it'll come in handy. So cute.

The only thing I will say about this is that the top makes me look SO flat... If you know what I mean. Nothing that a bit of extra padding won't fix though.

I've noticed that heidi klein does have some padded or push up options, including this lovely bikini. I think I suit the moulded cup/push up styles more compared to a standard halterneck. Hopefully if I add some more padding into this one, it'll work out okay!

heidi klein also does some gorgeous beachwear pieces too. In fact, I really love how classic and timeless most of the items are. The new Summer 2014 collection looks stunning, and if anything, I kind of want to get the credit card out...

Now that I've realised that you really do get amazing quality bikinis (yes, even with the expensive price tag), I probably would consider buying another one day... If I had enough holidays planned to make it worthwhile! I'll definitely be keeping this safe for the many summers to come though :)
