Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin | Review

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser (for dry skin) - £3.56

Summer is over, meaning it's even more tricky to keep your skin nicely hydrated outside. I'm the laziest when it comes to moisturusing my body during winter. It's cold so of course I'm going to put clothes on straight away and not wait around a long time for my moisturiser to sink into my skin!

I attempted to use Nivea's In-Shower Body Moisturiser for normal skin last year, which I didn't really like, but I came across the dry skin version so I thought I'd give it another go.

The formula feels very similar to that of the normal skin version - thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. It applies really well and your skin does feel very soft and smooth.

One big difference is that your skin actually does feel moisturised when you're dry. This never happened for me before. I was left with a coating of the product that never seemed to go and it felt like I just needed to wash it off completely. However, this does sink into your skin and leaves your skin feeling hydrated.

My skin is pretty dry in general, so maybe that's why this product works much better for me! I wouldn't replace my normal moisturisers or body butters with this, but it's a quick alternative if you don't want to be cold during winter whilst you moisturise.
