Max Factor Creme Puff Pressed Powder | Review

Max Factor Creme Puff Pressed Powder in Translucent - £6.99

I guess you could call Max Factor's Creme Puff Pressed Powder an absolute classic. Considering it came out in 1953 and is still loved today says everything in my opinion.

This powder gives you medium to high coverage over foundation or moisturiser and has a variety of shades to choose from. I always prefer to wear a translucent powder, but I do find this particular one a tad dark (it's perfect now I have a tan).

It evens out your skin tone, and doesn't feel heavy to wear at all despite its high coverage. It almost has an airbrush effect on your skin, which I love. I always apply this with a brush rather than the sponge applicator (I wish you could still get the puff to use) but you do have to be careful as you can apply too much quite easily.

It's not too expensive at £6.99, and I can definitely see the benefits. I might go and colour match your foundation to it now!

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser in Bare Radiance | Review

Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser in Bare Radiance - £34

I'm not going to be able to show you what this looks like on my face... Now I have a tan, the shade doesn't match at all. However I'll gladly reminisce as it's easily my favourite tinted moisturiser that I've ever used.

Laura Mercier's illuminating tinted moisturiser is just great. It provides enough moisture for your skin with its creamy formula, it's nourishing and isn't greasy. With dry skin like mine, it really helps to keep my skin feeling hydrated. It's also lightweight which is great, particularly for summer.

It blends in really well and gives your skin a lovely sheen/glow. My skin tone looks more even, although I do have to apply some concealer when required. Sometimes I need some additional coverage and this does act as a good base.

I'm very tempted to purchase another shade to match my tan but I can't face the price. At £34 it is pricey but it is a fantastic product. It's probably the only reason I'd like to go back to being pale...

Good vibes only please | What I Wore

Primark t-shirt | Boohoo Briana button through 5 pocket denim mini skirt

This t-shirt is like my motto nowadays. Definitely a good fit for me. As much as I love this skirt, I probably should have bought the skirt one size bigger because it can get incredibly short when walking. It sits above my hips and, as the skirt is quite stiff, it just rides up.

Apparently these skirts are supposed to be short (back in the day) but I don't feel comfortable enough to do that. I end up with a Simon Cowell waistline for one thing.
